The most powerful and memorable part of a Costa Rica Explorations program!
Students will have the chance to become a part of a genuine, Spanish-speaking Costa Rican family. As “sisters and brothers” within their “tico” family, students learn to speak Spanish, prepare and eat Costa Rican food, play typical Costa Rican games, participate in daily chores, and teach English to their new family members. Students will form lifelong bonds with their families and share many special moments throughout their stay.
Within the oldest neighborhoods of Turrialba, live the welcoming "Tico" families of San Rafael, Turrialba.
